I first recorded in Nashville at age 15, moved there at age 17, and have lived coast to coast since then. Well, I guess I have come full circle in life. I am loving recording and working in Nashville again on my soon-to-be finished CD of bluegrass standards, “Mountain Music.” With songs I was raised on like Rocky Top, I’ll Fly Away, Orange Blossom Special, Precious Memories and Mountain Dew. No wonder this project feels like my best one yet sonically. Not only am I working with the top pickers in country music but also the absolute best engineers who have mixed most of the number one hits in country music today. We had a great week working on edits, as I am co-producing it with Tim Crouch and Scott Coney, and we are almost reading for mixing this album. Stay tuned with more news to come!
