A big door has opened in Nashville for Dwayna Litz to work with some top musicians and songwriters this year. Plans to record some bluegrass/soul Johnny Cash tunes are in the making with a top producer in country music. Stay tuned for more details. It feels like coming home again to the bluegrass music Dwayna was raised hearing her grandfather play as she grew up in Tennessee. It is good to be working back in Nashville again after so many years.

Dwayna has begun mixing her next CD “I’m the Girl I Used to Know Again” to be released in the spring of 2014. The CD will appeal to many audiences. There will be elements in the music for anyone who likes country, pop, soul, easy listening, inspirational and R&B, and it will be available on iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Spotify. Dwayna’s next CD will be featuring her new song written with Kati Mac “Walkin’ in the Light” for victims of the Boston Marathon bombing and random school shootings in America in 2013. The song will be pitched to foundations and organizations formed to support survivors of such tragedies. “Walkin’ in the Light” is about how we cannot let evil overtake us and how that light triumphs over darkness as we choose to forgive and change wrong to right by loving and helping others. It has also been licensed for television spots, specifically for The Guiding Light long running daytime soap opera.
