I had the best day in the studio in my life! I know I have been saying that after every session, but they keep getting better! No wonder Sound Emporium is rated as Nashville’s #1 recording studio. The sounds from the room were wonderful, the vocals were easy with my voice in great shape and the band making it so easy to sing. I love the players, and we all have such wonderful, musical chemistry. It was a pleasure to work with Austin Crum, sitting in for James Mitchell on electric guitar. I have vowed to never use A.I. I hate it and consider it a slap in the face to me as a songwriter who loves writing songs from my heart. I could never be so happy working with robots! I always have such happy days working with these talented humans, and this week was the best yet, recording 6 new songs from scratch, including “Let There Be Peace on Earth” during this time of war.
Musicians: Tim Crouch: guitars, fiddle, mandolin/ Ryan Jones: piano and keys/ Steve Brewster: drums and percussion/ Duncan Mullins: electric bass/ Austin Crum: electric guitars, slide and steele/ Mark Niemiec and David Paulin engineering
The manager of the studio said she was going to frame the main photo of all of us and put it with the others on the wall. It made me feel so good!
