Dwayna Recording at Cowboy Jack’s

Dwayna Litz recording for the first time at Cowboy Jack’s–a studio owned by the Jack Clement family, and it is private, invitation-only studio with state of the art acoustics in Nashville.

“This is my new, favorite place to record in Nashville. I love working with Cameron and Bob Clement, and the whole crew, and this place has the best acoustics, too. Here is my new home away from home.” Dwayna Litz

Recording her new rendition with updated lyrics for “Still,” and a new rendition and arrangement of “Honest Life,” along with the hymn, “No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus” (a piano vocal with a trumpet solo), as well as her new, uptempo song, “God is Good,” with the surprise of a trumpet making it fit into multiple genres of music, not just Gospel but her own sound, which is a blend of southern Gospel and contemporary Christian music.

Pictured also: Tim Crouch (fiddle, mandolin, guitars), Jeff Taylor (piano), Andrew Carney (trumpet), Jonathan Presnell (drums), Brad Albin (bass), Cameron Davidson (engineer) and Nathan and Suzanne Young (background vocals).

From Nashville to Washington, D.C. to Sarasota, FL, NYC, CA and back again, Dwayna Litz has not stayed in the same place for long this year. Here is Dwayna staying busy doing what she loves, whether it be speaking, writing, recording new songs, filming a new video, singing live and sharing her testimony to audiences, doing the work of her Christian outreach in helping adults and underprivileged kids and teens through her 501c3 Lighting the Way and sharing her tips for happiness to other women–all of this and she is quick to tell you her favorite time of the day is her daily Bible study.

“I have to keep the most important thing, the most important thing.” –Dwayna Litz
